The QTX Essential is a 6m speaker cable with two latching SPK plugs at either end, built around 2 x 0.75mm² conductors (30 strands of 0.17mm copper per core) inside a 5.8mm flexible outer jacket. The cable is machine-assembled to maintain consistent build quality across production runs, and the latching SPK connectors lock into compatible speaker sockets to prevent accidental disconnection during transport or use.

Designed for mid-sized live PA setups, practice rooms, function spaces and permanent installations where a 6m reach is needed between amplifier and speaker, the cable suits passive speaker cabinets rated up to several hundred watts RMS. The 0.75mm² conductor cross-section provides sufficient current capacity for most portable and mid-power PA applications without requiring the weight and stiffness of heavier-gauge cable. The soft-grip jacket resists tangling when coiled and handles repeated wrapping and unwrapping without kinking.

The 6m length bridges typical stage-to-monitor distances, front-of-house to main speaker runs in small-to-medium venues, and allows routing around obstacles or through cable trays in fixed installations. The cable can be coiled down to approximately 250mm diameter for storage in equipment bags or cable drums, and the jacket retains flexibility across a wide temperature range for both indoor and sheltered outdoor use.
