Description

The QTX black light bulb is a 75W UV-A emitting lamp with a standard ES (E27) Edison screw fitting and a black glass envelope that blocks visible light while allowing ultraviolet wavelengths through. When powered, the bulb produces ultraviolet radiation in the 365-400nm range, causing fluorescent materials, white fabrics and certain paints to glow under the UV emission.

Designed for stage effects, entertainment venues, themed events and party lighting, the bulb fits any standard E27 lamp holder including desktop fixtures, floor lamps and ceiling pendants rated for 75W or higher. The black glass envelope prevents the bulb from casting visible light into the room, concentrating output in the UV spectrum for stronger fluorescent reactions. The bulb operates on standard 230V 50Hz UK mains without requiring a ballast or control gear.
