Description

The Qbic Small is a 44cm cube-form floor lamp built from six clear tempered glass panels held together by exposed brass corner brackets, with a cylindrical 7W 3000K LED module suspended at the centre on fine wires. The cube sits on a four-leg black metal base, raising the glass enclosure clear of the floor and exposing the LED capsule from every angle.

At 44cm tall and 32cm in diameter, the Qbic Small works as a low accent light beside a sofa, at the foot of a bed, in a hallway, or as a corner fitting in a reading area. The warm 3000K colour temperature gives a relaxed evening glow rather than a task-light brightness, and the open glass construction means light passes outward in all directions rather than being directed up or down.

The construction is the design feature here: the brass brackets, visible fixings and tensioned internal wires give the lamp a precision-engineered look closer to lab apparatus than traditional decorative lighting. Clear glass panels keep the cube visually weightless, so the lamp reads as a small architectural object rather than a bulky shaded fitting. The black metal legs ground the piece and pair the brass and glass with a matt anchor.
