Description

The Qbic is a 68cm floor lamp built from clear tinted glass panels held together by brass corner brackets, set on a four-leg matt black metal base. A vertical LED column runs through the centre of the glass cage, delivering 20W of integrated 3000K warm light. The hexagonal arrangement of glass panels surrounds the light source without diffusing it, so the LED tube remains visible through the glazing.

At 68cm tall with a 32cm diameter, the Qbic sits between a tall table lamp and a conventional floor lamp in scale. It works as a low floor light beside a sofa or armchair, on a wide hearth, or on the floor of a bay window. The compact height also makes it usable as an oversized table lamp on a sideboard or console where ceiling space is restricted.

The construction details are deliberately exposed: visible brass fixings at every panel corner, a tensioned wire frame, and a four-leg base finished in matt black powder-coated metal. The glass panels carry a slight smoke tint that warms the light passing through them. The integrated LED is rated for the typical lifespan of fixed LED modules, so the Qbic does not require bulb replacement during normal use.

Does it use a replaceable bulb?

No. The Qbic uses an integrated 20W LED rated at 3000K warm white. The LED is fixed within the central column and is not designed to be user-replaced.

Is it dimmable?

The Specification tab lists the LED as 20W 3000K with no dimmable rating noted. Dimmer compatibility cannot be guaranteed; please contact us before pairing with a dimmer module.

How tall is it and where does it suit?

The Qbic is 68cm tall and 32cm in diameter. That puts it in low floor lamp or oversized table lamp territory, suiting positions beside a low sofa, on a hearth, in a bay window, or on a wide sideboard where a taller lamp would feel out of proportion.

How is the glass cleaned?

Wipe the glass panels with a soft, lint-free cloth. For fingerprints, use a dry microfibre cloth or a barely-damp cloth followed by a dry buff. Avoid spraying glass cleaner directly onto the lamp, as overspray can reach the brass fixings and the LED housing.
