PRO-S 25W ZH 540x210 LED Street Light IP66 - Grey

The PRO-S is a pole-mounted LED street light built for roads, car parks and access routes. It runs on 25W and gives 3880 lumens at an efficiency of 155 lm/W, with a neutral 4000K output that reads as clean white on tarmac and paving. The wide asymmetric beam of 150 degrees by 125 degrees spreads light forward and out along the carriageway rather than straight down, which is what you want from a street lantern. The PRO-S suits residential streets, estate roads, car parks, yards and the approaches to commercial sites. Mounted on a pole or column spigot at typical street-lighting height, the forward-biased beam lets units be spaced along a route for even coverage between poles, so the lit area carries along the road or across the parking bays rather than pooling under each fitting. Because it is a directional area luminaire rather than ambient room lighting, plan it on throw and spacing: position columns so the beams overlap at ground level and avoid dark gaps at the edges of the parked-car zone.

Built from aluminium alloy with a grey finish, the PRO-S carries an IP66 rating so it is fully weatherproof and stands up to exposed outdoor and wet locations, backed by an IK08 impact rating. It mounts to a street pole via the spigot fitting and is not dimmable, running directly from a 220 to 240V AC supply. The integrated LED is rated for 100,000 hours, the unit measures 535 by 210 by 108 mm and weighs 2.99 kg. How is the PRO-S mounted?

It is a pole, column or post-mounted luminaire, fitting onto a street-lighting column via its spigot. It is designed for the top of a pole over a road or car park and is not a wall-mounted fitting.

Is it suitable for fully exposed outdoor use?

Yes. The PRO-S is rated IP66, so it is weatherproof and handles exposed outdoor and wet locations, including driving rain. The IK08 rating also gives it solid resistance to knocks.

How should poles be spaced for even coverage?

The wide 150 by 125 degree asymmetric beam throws light forward along the route rather than straight down, so columns can be spaced apart with the beams overlapping at ground level. Space them so the lit zones meet and avoid dark patches between poles or at the edge of parking bays.
