The Presmenne is a set of five round recessed LED downlights in white, each with a plastic body 9cm across that sits almost flush with the ceiling. The light source is integrated LED, so there are no bulbs to buy or change, and each light draws 4.5W and gives 450lm. Each one needs a 6.8cm hole and 3cm of depth behind the ceiling, which makes the set a good match for shallow ceiling voids. The IP20 rating settles where they belong: indoors and in dry rooms, away from bathrooms and outdoor spaces.

A row of these along a bedroom ceiling gives an even wash of light over the wall and bed, and they work just as well in a living room, hallway, kitchen or home office. Because the colour temperature is chosen at the light, you pick the mood for each room: 2700K for a warm, restful glow in a bedroom or lounge, 4000K for a crisp neutral light in a kitchen or study, and 6500K for a cool, daylight-like brightness in a utility room. Buying five together means a whole ceiling matches, with the same white rim and, set alike, the same tone of light from end to end.

The inner ring tilts within the white plastic rim, so you can aim the light at artwork, a worktop or a reading chair. Sprung clips hold each downlight in its hole. There is no switch on the light itself: the set is switched at the wall and runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains. It is not dimmable, so each light always gives its full 450lm. As a wired-in mains light, the set is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions are available as a download. The energy class is E.
