Description

This is a 42W constant current LED driver with DALI dimming built in. A driver is the power supply an LED fitting needs between it and the mains: it converts the incoming supply to a low voltage, regulated output that the LED module can accept, and it is the part that does the dimming. Constant current means the output holds a set current steady and lets the voltage move to suit the module, which is what most LED panels, downlights and linear boards are built around. It carries an IP20 rating and is sold as a single unit.

It suits an installation that is already running, or about to run, a DALI control system: a digital lighting bus rather than a wall dimmer, with each driver given its own address so a controller or a scene plate can set levels individually or in groups.
