Description

The Pietra is a 2-light semi-flush ceiling light built around two curved chrome arms that extend from a circular ceiling plate, each ending in a downward-facing frosted glass shade shaped like a folded petal. The polished chrome arms and canopy reflect surrounding light, while the frosted glass shades diffuse the output from two G9 bulbs (sold separately) into soft ambient light.

Designed for rooms with standard or low ceiling heights where a full pendant would hang too low, the Pietra's 390mm overall height positions the light close to the ceiling without sitting flush against it. The curved arms give the fitting a sculptural presence even when switched off. The 170mm width suits hallways, compact bedrooms, reading corners and bathrooms with ceiling heights of 2.1m-2.4m where a larger fitting would dominate the space.

Each frosted glass shade measures approximately 100mm across at the widest point and features a clear glass rim that adds definition to the petal shape. The polished chrome finish on the metal frame pairs with modern chrome fixtures and fittings, while the organic floral form of the shades softens the overall effect. The fitting weighs 0.8kg and mounts to a standard ceiling rose with screws concealed by the chrome canopy.
