Description

The Piazza is a 450mm square flush crystal ceiling light with eight G9 bulb positions arranged behind rows of faceted octagon crystal beads, mounted on a polished chrome metal frame. The crystals sit in individual metal rings that form continuous bands across the fitting's surface, creating a geometric grid pattern. A recessed mirrored panel at the centre reflects light back through the crystals, adding depth and amplifying brightness when the bulbs are lit.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.3-2.6m where a pendant would hang too low, the 120mm projection from the ceiling makes the Piazza suitable for hallways, landings, bedrooms and low-ceiling living rooms needing both ambient light and a decorative element. The eight G9 bulbs (sold separately) can be standard halogen or LED, with dimmable versions allowing the light level to be adjusted via a compatible wall dimmer. The polished chrome finish works in both traditional and contemporary interiors, pairing with warm metallics or cool greys depending on wall colour and furnishings.

Each crystal bead is hand-finished before assembly, meaning the edges catch and refract light differently depending on viewing angle. The 450mm footprint suits ceiling spaces above dining tables, bed centres or in entrance halls where the fitting acts as a focal point without dominating the room. The Piazza takes eight G9 capsule bulbs, each up to 33W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with G9 LED bulbs between 3-5W and 2700K-3000K for warm white light that complements the crystal refraction.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you fit dimmable G9 bulbs and pair them with a compatible dimmer switch. Not all G9 LED bulbs dim smoothly, so check the bulb packaging confirms dimmer compatibility before purchase.
