Description

The Piazza is an 850mm linear crystal suspension light with six G9 bulb fittings housed within a polished chrome rectangular frame, surrounded by continuous rows of octagon-cut crystals. The crystals are mounted on a wire mesh backing that wraps the entire perimeter of the frame, creating a curtain effect when lit from within by the six G9 capsule bulbs (sold separately).

Designed for positioning over kitchen islands, dining tables and breakfast bars between 1.5-2.5m in length, the Piazza provides both ambient illumination and decorative sparkle. The 350-1200mm adjustable drop allows the fitting to be suspended 700-900mm above a worktop or table surface depending on ceiling height. The polished chrome canopy plate mounts to a standard UK ceiling rose and the two suspension cables conceal the electrical run.

The octagon crystals are faceted to catch and refract light from the six internal G9 sources, producing scattered highlights across surrounding surfaces when the fitting is lit. The polished chrome finish on the frame and canopy reflects ambient light during the day and intensifies the crystal sparkle when the bulbs are on. At 4.6kg the fitting has sufficient mass to hang stably on the suspension cables without swaying under air movement from windows or extract fans. The 120mm depth keeps the profile compact enough for ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards.

Yes, if paired with dimmable G9 LED bulbs and a compatible LED dimmer switch. The fitting itself has no dimming electronics — dimmer compatibility depends entirely on the bulbs chosen.

What table length does it suit?

The 850mm width suits tables and kitchen islands between 1.5-2.5m in length. For longer islands above 2.5m, consider using two Piazza fittings spaced along the length, or look for a larger linear suspension in the Diyas range.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off at the mains and allow bulbs to cool. Wipe individual crystals with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the wire mesh backing or getting water into the G9 bulb holders.
