Description

Phineas is a sitting bird door stop, sewn from patterned fabric and finished with real character. The head is worked in bright red felt with a pale beak and small black bead eyes, and the body wears a floral print jacket over a pink gingham waistcoat complete with tiny buttons and a chest pocket. A rust-orange scarf is knotted at the neck, and a full grey feathery tail sweeps out behind. He stands roughly 24cm tall, with a base measuring around 13cm by 12cm, which gives him enough weight and footprint to sit steadily against a door.

He is made to hold an internal door open, and he does that job while reading as an ornament rather than a piece of hardware. Set him at the foot of a bedroom or living room door, in a hallway, or beside a study door where you want the air to move through.
