Description

The Pesvette is a round recessed downlight that sits almost flush with the ceiling, leaving only a slim satin nickel bezel 9cm across in view. The body is plastic, finished in a brushed satin nickel colour, and the inner ring tilts so you can angle the beam towards a picture, a shelf or a favourite chair. It takes a GU10 lamp of up to 5W, which is not included, so you choose the colour of light and the brightness that suit the room. The rating is IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms, away from water and steam.

Because the bezel stays small and quiet, a row of these suits hallways, landings, living rooms and bedrooms where you want light from the ceiling without a pendant in the way. The tilting ring is the useful part: it lets you wash a wall, pick out artwork or put light over a dining table rather than straight down at the floor. The satin nickel finish is a soft grey metallic that sits comfortably beside brushed steel handles, chrome switches and white or pale ceilings.
