Description
The Pesvette is a round recessed downlight, 9cm across, with a satin nickel finish and a fine brushed grain on its slim bezel. Inside the bezel sits a tilting ring, so you can angle the beam rather than letting it fall straight to the floor. The body is plastic, coloured satin nickel to match, and only the neat rim shows once it is set into the ceiling. It takes a GU10 lamp rated at 4.5W and 345 lumens. Its IP20 rating settles where it goes: indoors and dry, so it belongs in living spaces and never in a bathroom or outdoors.
Set a few across a ceiling and you get an even, uncluttered spread of light in hallways, landings, living rooms and bedrooms. Because the inner ring tilts, you can turn one towards a framed print, a bookcase or a feature wall and wash it in light, while the rest point straight down for general lighting. That makes it a good choice for anyone who wants a clean ceiling but still likes to pick out their favourite pieces. The satin nickel tone sits comfortably beside brushed steel handles, grey walls and warm wood alike.
It needs a cut-out 6.8cm across and 8.5cm of depth above the ceiling, and spring clips on either side hold the bezel snug against the ceiling surface. It runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains power and has no switch of its own, so you control it from the wall switch. As a wired-in mains light, it should be installed by a qualified electrician. The energy class is F, and the packed weight is a light 0.175KG. The installation instructions are available as a download, so your electrician has every detail to hand before the ceiling is cut.

Can I put this downlight in a bathroom?
No. Its IP20 rating means it is made for dry rooms indoors, so keep it to living spaces, hallways and bedrooms, away from bathrooms and outdoors.
What size hole does it need?
It needs a cut-out 6.8cm across and 8.5cm of depth above the ceiling, and the bezel itself is 9cm across.
Can the light be angled?
Yes. The inner ring tilts, so you can aim the beam at a picture, a shelf or a wall rather than pointing it straight at the floor.
Which bulb does it take?
It takes a GU10 lamp, and the light is rated at 4.5W and 345 lumens, with an energy class of F.
Does it have its own switch?
No. It has no switch of its own and runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains power, so you control it from the wall switch.
What material is the body?
The body is plastic in a satin nickel colour, with a fine brushed grain on the bezel that sits well beside brushed steel and grey schemes.
