Description

The Pesvette is a round recessed downlight in a black finish, with a plastic body 9cm across and an inner ring that tilts so you can angle the beam where it is needed. It takes a GU10 lamp, rated at 4.5W and 345lm, for a cool white light, and runs from the mains at 220 to 240V. At IP20 it is made for indoors and dry rooms only, so keep it to living spaces rather than bathrooms or anywhere outdoors.

A run of these black downlights works well in a bedroom, a hallway, a living room or a study, where a ceiling light that sits almost flush gives clean, even light without a pendant in the way. The black trim reads as a crisp ring against a pale ceiling, which suits a modern scheme, and because each ring tilts you can wash light over a wall, pick out artwork or point it towards a reading corner. It is switched at the wall with no switch of its own, so it answers to the wall switch you already use.

The body is plastic with a black finish, which keeps the whole downlight to 0.182KG packed. Two sprung clips at the sides hold it against the ceiling, and its energy class is F. As a wired mains light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download.
