Description
The Pesvette is a set of three round recessed downlights, each 9cm across, with a satin nickel bezel over a plastic body. The brushed metallic colour sits quietly against a white ceiling. Each downlight takes a GU10 lamp, draws 4.5W and gives 345 lumens of warm white light, so the three together make a simple, even spread across a ceiling. They are rated IP20, and that settles where they belong: indoors, in dry rooms only.
We would put them in a hallway, on a landing, in a kitchen or across a living room ceiling, anywhere a light set into the ceiling suits better than a pendant. A row of three along a corridor or over a worktop gives steady, practical light, and one placed near a wall lifts a framed print or a painting. Because the lights sit almost flush, they take nothing from the height of the room, which helps under low ceilings and in smaller spaces. There is no switch on the downlights themselves: they are switched at the wall, so they work from the switch you already use. Keep them out of bathrooms and away from water, where their IP20 rating does not reach.
Spring clips hold each downlight in the ceiling, and each one needs a cut-out 6.8cm across with 8.5cm of clear depth above the ceiling. The lights run from a mains supply of 220 to 240V and are hard-wired, so a qualified electrician should install them. The installation instructions are available as a download. The packed set weighs 0.426KG. If you are replacing older downlights, measure the existing holes first: a cut-out of 6.8cm is the figure that decides whether these go straight into place.

Frequently Asked
Can I use these downlights in a bathroom?
No. They are rated IP20, which means indoors and dry rooms only, so keep them out of bathrooms and away from water.
What size hole do these downlights need?
Each downlight needs a cut-out 6.8cm across and 8.5cm of clear depth above the ceiling, and the bezel itself is 9cm across.
How bright is each light?
Each of the three downlights draws 4.5W and gives 345 lumens of warm white light from its GU10 lamp holder.
Which lamp fitting do they take?
Each downlight takes a GU10 lamp, a widely used push and twist cap, so a replacement is straightforward whenever one is needed.
Do the downlights have their own switch?
No, there is no switch on the lights themselves. They are switched at the wall, from the switch already in your room.
What colour is the finish?
The bezel is satin nickel over a plastic body, a brushed metallic colour that sits quietly against a white or pale ceiling.
