Description

The Penny is a tripod floor lamp with three polished nickel legs that meet at a central hub 1397mm above the floor, supporting a single E27 fitting beneath a white linen shade. The three legs splay outward to form a 470mm-wide triangular footprint, giving the lamp stability without needing additional weight or a circular base plate.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and reading corners where mid-century styling suits the interior, the Penny provides ambient light filtered through the fabric shade rather than directed task light. The white linen diffuses light evenly in all directions, softening the bulb and reducing glare. The lamp accepts any standard E27 bulb up to 60W (sold separately), allowing the light temperature and brightness to be chosen based on room use.

The polished nickel finish on the metal frame reflects light without the mirror-bright intensity of chrome, giving a warmer metallic tone that pairs well with grey, taupe and neutral colour schemes. The legs are solid metal rods rather than hollow tubing, giving the lamp a substantial feel despite the minimal design. The shade sits 1200mm above floor level when fitted, placing the light source at head height for someone seated nearby.
