Pegasus 3 Light Mirror Crystal Flush Ceiling Light - Polished Chrome

The Pegasus is a 450mm diameter flush crystal ceiling light with three cylindrical clusters of faceted crystal droplets hanging from a circular polished chrome backplate with a mirrored finish. Each of the three clusters surrounds a G9 bulb fitting (bulbs sold separately) and terminates in a larger hanging crystal prism that catches and refracts light from the bulbs and ambient room sources.

Designed for rooms with low ceilings or contemporary interiors where a traditional chandelier would overwhelm the space, the Pegasus sits 200mm below the ceiling once installed, making it suitable for ceilings from 2.3m upwards. The mirrored backplate reflects light from the G9 bulbs back through the crystal strands, effectively doubling the visual brightness and creating depth behind the crystal curtain. The fixture works in hallways, bedrooms, living rooms and dining rooms where decorative lighting is wanted without the drop of a suspension pendant.

Each crystal strand is hand-cut and strung on polished chrome fittings, and the faceted cuts create prismatic light scatter when the bulbs are lit. The polished chrome frame and mirrored plate pair well with modern and contemporary interiors, particularly those using chrome taps, handles and fixtures elsewhere. The fixture accepts three G9 capsule bulbs up to 33W each, and is dimmable when paired with dimmable G9 LED or halogen bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.

What bulbs does the Pegasus take?

The fixture takes three G9 capsule bulbs, each up to 33W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with three warm-white LED G9 bulbs between 3-5W and 2700K-3000K for ambient lighting. G9 LED bulbs run cooler and last longer than halogen equivalents.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 200mm drop makes the Pegasus one of the more compact crystal ceiling lights available. It works in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.3m upwards, where a traditional crystal chandelier would hang too low or dominate the space.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when fitted with dimmable G9 bulbs and paired with a compatible dimmer switch. Check that your dimmer is rated for LED if using LED G9 bulbs, as older halogen-only dimmers may cause flickering.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off and allow the bulbs to cool completely. Wipe each crystal strand gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the metal fittings and do not use household glass cleaners or polishes.
