Pearl 9 Light Crystal Semi-Flush Ceiling Light - Polished Chrome

The Pearl is a 450mm semi-flush crystal ceiling light built around a polished chrome frame holding nine E14 bulb positions, each surrounded by cascading Asfour crystal spheres and square-cut crystal elements. The fixture sits 430mm below the ceiling, making it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above where a full chandelier would hang too low. The chrome frame forms a tiered structure — an upper crown of cascading crystals flows from the ceiling plate, while a wider lower tier holds the majority of the bulbs and a dense cluster of faceted crystal spheres.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms in traditional and classical interiors, the Pearl provides both ambient light through the nine bulbs and decorative sparkle through the crystal refractions. The Asfour crystal — a lead-free optical crystal manufactured in Egypt — is cut with multiple facets on each sphere and square, so when the bulbs are lit the fixture throws rainbow refractions onto surrounding walls and ceilings. The polished chrome finish on the metalwork gives a bright, reflective surface that amplifies the crystal sparkle.

The 9.5kg weight of the fixture requires secure fixing into a solid ceiling joist or reinforced ceiling plate — the combined mass of the chrome armature and dense crystal decoration is substantial. The nine E14 bulbs are sold separately, giving flexibility to choose warm-white, cool-white or dimmable LED bulbs depending on the room's colour scheme and lighting requirement. With dimmable LED bulbs installed, the Pearl can be paired with a compatible dimmer to adjust light levels from full brightness for dining to a softer glow for evening ambience.

What ceiling height is needed?

The Pearl sits 430mm below the ceiling, so works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. In rooms with 2.4m ceilings the base of the fixture will be approximately 1.97m above the floor, which is acceptable for general circulation. Lower ceilings may find the fixture too low for comfortable headroom.

Does it come with bulbs?

No. The fitting takes nine E14 (small Edison screw) bulbs up to 60W each, sold separately. Most users fit warm-white LED bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K to pair with the crystal and chrome finish.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when paired with dimmable E14 LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. The fixture itself has no internal dimming electronics — dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs chosen and the dimmer model installed.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off and allow bulbs to cool fully. Wipe each crystal element with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For more thorough cleaning, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water can be used on the crystals, then buffed dry immediately. Avoid household sprays or polishes as they leave residue that dulls the crystal facets.
