Pearl 12 Light Crystal Semi-Flush Ceiling Light - Polished Chrome

The Pearl is a 600mm crystal semi-flush ceiling light with twelve E14 bulb positions arranged around a polished chrome frame, dressed with multiple tiers of Asfour crystal spheres and cut crystal droplets. The semi-flush canopy sits 520mm below the ceiling, positioning the light source low enough to act as a central feature while clearing typical 2.4m ceiling heights with headroom to spare.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms with standard ceiling heights, the Pearl provides both ambient and decorative light through the refraction and reflection of its crystal elements. The twelve bulbs can be fitted with dimmable E14 candles (sold separately) to control light intensity across different times of day. The polished chrome frame reflects light back through the crystal layers, intensifying the scatter and creating movement across walls and ceilings when the light is on.

Each crystal sphere and faceted droplet refracts light into spectrum colours, with the effect varying depending on the colour temperature of the bulbs installed. Warm white bulbs (2700K-3000K) give a softer amber-to-white scatter, while daylight bulbs (4000K+) produce crisper, cooler refraction patterns. The fixture weighs 18.3kg when fully dressed with crystal, requiring a ceiling joist or reinforced fixing point capable of supporting that load safely. The chrome finish is maintenance-free beyond occasional dusting, while the crystal elements can be wiped with a damp microfibre cloth when powered off.

What bulbs does the Pearl require?

The Pearl takes twelve E14 candle bulbs, sold separately. Maximum 60W per bulb, though most users install 4-6W LED candles. For dimming functionality, choose bulbs marked as dimmable and pair with a compatible dimmer switch.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 520mm drop from ceiling to lowest crystal point works in rooms with 2.4m ceilings or higher. In a dining room, the light typically sits 2m above floor level, clearing head height with comfortable margin.

Does the 18.3kg weight require reinforced fixing?

Yes. The ceiling fixing point must be secured to a joist or reinforced with a spreader plate capable of supporting 18.3kg safely. Standard plasterboard fixings are not suitable for this weight.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Power off the light and allow bulbs to cool. Wipe each crystal sphere and droplet with a barely-damp microfibre cloth, then dry immediately with a clean dry cloth to prevent water marks. Avoid sprays and chemical cleaners, which can leave residue that dulls the crystal's clarity.
