Description

The Feiss Paulson is a 279mm diameter flush ceiling light built around a polished chrome drum frame with a clear glass rod diffuser running around the perimeter and a frosted white glass lens at the base. Three 3W LED G9 bulbs (included) sit inside the drum, with light passing through both the vertical glass rods and the bottom diffuser to create soft ambient illumination across the ceiling plane and downward into the room.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights under 2.4m where a pendant would hang too low, the Paulson suits hallways, bathrooms, bedrooms and living rooms needing close-to-ceiling lighting without sacrificing visual interest. The 159mm fitting height projects minimally from the ceiling, leaving headroom clearance in doorways and over furniture. The IP44 rating makes the fitting suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3, protecting the internal components from splashes and moisture without requiring a fully sealed enclosure.

The clear glass rods are set vertically in a continuous row around the chrome drum, creating a ribbed texture that catches and refracts light when the fitting is on and adds architectural detail when off. The frosted base lens softens the light output and prevents direct glare from the G9 capsules when viewed from below. The polished chrome finish on the frame provides a bright metallic accent that pairs with chrome taps, towel rails and door furniture in bathrooms, and with brushed or polished metal accessories in living spaces.

Yes. The Paulson includes three 3W LED G9 bulbs rated at 3000K (warm white). The bulbs are integrated into the fitting on delivery and do not need to be purchased separately.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

Yes. The IP44 rating protects the fitting from water splashes, making it suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3. This includes positions above baths, outside shower enclosures, and general bathroom ceiling areas. It is not rated for zone 1 (inside shower enclosures) or zone 0 (submerged).

What ceiling height does it suit?

The 159mm fitting height makes the Paulson suitable for rooms with ceiling heights under 2.4m where a pendant would intrude into headroom. It also works in higher-ceilinged rooms where close-to-ceiling lighting is preferred for aesthetic or practical reasons.
