Description

This is the Paradise cushion cover in yellow, a 50x50cm square printed with a detailed bird and flower design on a velvet-feel cotton. The print is drawn in the chinoiserie style, with birds perched among roses, blossom and trailing foliage across a bright yellow ground, and the same design continues over the reverse. The fabric is 100% cotton, which is what gives the cover its soft handle and quiet sheen while keeping it breathable and easy to launder.

At 50x50cm this is a standard scatter-cushion size, the one most sofas, armchairs and beds are set up for, so it sits comfortably against larger back cushions or in a pair at either end of a settee. The yellow ground is the boldest of the three colourways the cover comes in, and it reads as a warm, saturated anchor rather than a background, so it works best where you want the cushion to do the talking.
