The Panasonic LR14 is a C size alkaline battery delivering 1.5V per cell, sold in a 2-pack blister. Each battery measures 50mm tall and 26mm in diameter, fitting standard C battery compartments in torches, portable radios, children's toys, LED lanterns and other medium to high-drain devices requiring consistent energy output.

Designed for household and professional use, the LR14 alkaline chemistry provides longer runtime than zinc-carbon equivalents in devices that draw moderate to high current. The batteries suit portable audio equipment, wall clocks requiring C cells, battery-powered fans, electric shavers and remote-control toys. Each cell is sealed against leakage under normal operating conditions and carries the Panasonic Alkaline Power branding.

The LR14 designation is the IEC standard name for C size alkaline cells. These batteries may also be labelled 14A, 14AU, X93 or simply C depending on the manufacturer's regional naming convention, but all refer to the same 26mm diameter, 50mm height, 1.5V alkaline chemistry. Panasonic's Bronze range replaces the previous red-pack alkaline line while maintaining the same performance profile.

The blister pack dimensions of 120mm wide by 83mm tall by 26mm deep allow the pack to hang on retail pegboard or sit flat in a drawer. The packaging uses lower VOC inks and adhesives as part of Panasonic's environmental production practices. Batteries should be stored in a cool, dry place and removed from devices when not in use for extended periods to prevent leakage damage.

Can these batteries be recharged?
