Description

The Paloma is a 270mm flush crystal ceiling light with a bowl of hand-set octagonal crystals held in a satin nickel metal frame. Two E14 bulbs inside the crystal bowl cast light through the faceted pieces, refracting across the ceiling and room surfaces. The 130mm overall height suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2m or above where a pendant would hang too low.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, low-ceiling living rooms and bathrooms needing decorative ambient light without the drop of a pendant, the Paloma fixes directly to a standard ceiling rose with no visible chain or cable. The satin nickel finish provides a cool metallic accent that pairs with both warm-toned and contemporary interiors, and the clear crystals retain light transmission rather than tinting it.

Each octagonal crystal is set individually into hand-shaped metal rings rather than glued into a stamped frame, giving the piece a heavier, more durable construction than pressed-metal alternatives. The combined metal and crystal weight of 1kg means the fitting needs secure fixing to a ceiling joist or appropriate toggle fixings in plasterboard. The dimmable compatibility depends on bulb choice — pair with dimmable E14 LEDs for variable light levels.

The 130mm projection from the ceiling makes the Paloma suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2m or above. Below 2.2m the fitting may feel visually heavy, though it will still function safely.

The Paloma carries no IP rating and is designed for dry indoor locations. It is not suitable for bathroom zones 0, 1 or 2 where moisture ingress is a risk. It can be used in well-ventilated bathrooms outside the regulated zones, typically 600mm or more away from a bath or shower enclosure.
