Paloma 2 Light Crystal Flush Ceiling Light - Satin Nickel

The Paloma is a 330mm diameter flush crystal ceiling light built around a satin nickel circular frame that sits 150mm below the ceiling. Hand-linked octagonal crystals fill the central bowl, each held in place by the nickel grid. Two E14 bulbs inside the bowl (sold separately) cast light through the crystal array, refracting across the polished facets and edges.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.3m and 2.7m where a pendant would hang too low, the Paloma provides ambient and decorative light without projecting far into the room. The flush design suits hallways, bedrooms, dining rooms and living spaces where a traditional crystal chandelier would overwhelm the proportions. The 2 x 40W maximum load provides enough light for a 12-15m² room when paired with warm-white LED candle bulbs.

The satin nickel finish on the frame provides a brushed metallic surface that softens reflections and pairs comfortably with both cool greys and warmer neutrals. Each octagonal crystal is individually linked to the frame, so the bowl retains some flexibility and the crystals can move slightly when disturbed, creating subtle shifts in the refracted light pattern. The 1.2kg weight requires a secure ceiling fixing but does not need reinforcement beyond a standard plasterboard fixing in good condition.

What bulbs does it take?

The Paloma takes two E14 small Edison screw bulbs up to 40W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for ambient light in a bedroom or dining room.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you fit dimmable bulbs and pair the fitting with a compatible LED dimmer switch. The fixture itself does not contain dimming electronics.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The 150mm projection below the ceiling makes the Paloma suitable for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.3m and 2.7m. In rooms with ceilings above 2.7m a semi-flush or pendant may provide better proportion.

How are the crystals cleaned?

Dust with a dry microfibre cloth or use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water for stubborn marks. Avoid spraying glass cleaner directly onto the crystals as overspray can tarnish the satin nickel frame.
