Description

The Pagino is a black LED flood light with a built-in motion sensor, made for an outside wall. A square, flat light panel sits on a hinged arm above a round base, with the sensor dome tucked underneath it, and the whole body is black plastic. It measures 18cm in length and 26cm in height, and it stands 16cm out from the wall. The integrated LEDs draw 11.5W and give 2,200lm of cool white light at 5000K, the crisp, daylight tone that makes a path or a doorstep easy to read after dark. With an IP44 rating it is protected from splashing water, so it lives outdoors on a house wall.

Because the sensor switches the light on whenever it detects movement, the Pagino suits a front door, a side passage, a driveway, a back step or the wall beside a garage. You get bright light at the moment you need it, even with your hands full of shopping, rather than a light left burning all night. The head tilts on its hinged arm, so the beam can be angled down onto the ground you want lit. The black finish sits quietly against render, brick, timber cladding or concrete, and the compact size keeps it in proportion beside a door frame.

The body is plastic, and plastic does not rust, which matters on an outside wall that faces the weather all year. The LEDs are integrated, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It runs on 220-240V at 50/60Hz, carries energy class C and is not dimmable, so it gives its full output each time the sensor wakes it. Packed, it weighs 0.874KG. As a hard-wired mains light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download.
