Description

This outdoor wall light, from the Laven range, is a surface-mounted façade fitting that fixes to an exterior wall to throw light up and down the wall surface. It accepts a single E27 Edison Screw (ES) lamp rated up to 10W, which is supplied separately, so you can choose the brightness and tone that suits the spot. The position is fixed, giving a settled up-and-down wash once mounted. Please note the bulb is not included.

Measuring 148 × 80 × 276 mm, it suits front entrances, porches, side passages and garden walls where a defined wall-grazing effect is wanted. The IP44 rating covers splashes and rain from above, so it is well suited to sheltered and semi-exposed exterior positions such as a doorway or under an eave. Keep it clear of direct, sustained water jets and submersion, which fall outside an IP44 rating.

The body is aluminium alloy in a graphite finish that holds up to outdoor conditions. It mounts to the wall surface on its fixing plate and wires into a mains supply, taking one E27 lamp behind the fitting. Whether the light can be dimmed depends on the bulb you fit, since dimming is a property of the lamp rather than the housing. Supplied without a bulb so you can match the cap to your preferred output.
