Description

The Knightsbridge OWALL2W is a compact outdoor wall light with two GU10 lamp holders firing up and down from a cylindrical white powder-coated body. Built from 201 stainless steel with an IP54 rating, the fitting resists water ingress from rain and splashing, making it suitable for external facades, covered porches, courtyard walls and commercial building entrances.

The dual-beam configuration casts light upwards onto the wall surface and downwards onto the ground or pathway below, creating accent wash lighting on masonry, rendered walls or timber cladding. At 170mm tall and 60mm diameter, the fitting works on both domestic house walls and commercial building facades where a narrow footprint is needed. The 96mm projection keeps the fitting close to the wall plane without dominating the facade line.

Each GU10 socket accepts halogen or LED lamps up to 20W (sold separately). Using warm-white LED GU10s between 2700K and 3000K produces architectural accent lighting without flooding the surrounding area. The stainless steel construction resists corrosion in coastal and exposed locations, and the white powder-coated finish stays cleaner than black finishes in high-pollen or dusty environments. The fitting requires a Class I earthed connection to the mains supply.

What bulbs does it take?

The fitting takes two GU10 bulbs up to 20W each, sold separately. Most users pair this with LED GU10s between 5W and 7W in warm white (2700K-3000K) for architectural accent lighting on external walls.

Is it weatherproof?

Yes. The IP54 rating means the fitting resists water ingress from rain and splashing from any direction. It is suitable for external facades, covered porches and courtyard walls. It is not submersible and should not be installed where it will be submerged or subject to high-pressure water jets.

Can it be used in coastal locations?

The 201 stainless steel construction provides corrosion resistance in most coastal environments. In very high salt-exposure locations (within 500m of breaking surf), periodic rinsing with fresh water will extend the finish lifespan.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming depends on the bulbs fitted. If you use dimmable LED GU10 bulbs and pair them with a compatible LED dimmer switch, the fitting will dim. Non-dimmable LED bulbs will not dim regardless of the switch used.
