Description

The Knightsbridge WALL3LC is an adjustable outdoor wall light with a copper-effect electroplated finish over 304 stainless steel construction. The lamp head tilts and rotates on a ball joint, allowing the GU10 spotlight to be directed at wall textures, doorways, house numbers or garden features. An IP65 rating protects the fitting against dust ingress and water jets from any direction, making it suitable for exposed exterior walls, porches and covered outdoor seating areas.

Designed for porch lighting, doorway accent lighting and uplighting onto brickwork or render, the fitting measures 60mm diameter with a 155mm projection from the wall. The clear diffuser allows the full beam pattern from the GU10 bulb to project cleanly without significant light loss. The adjustable head locks into position once set, so the beam angle remains consistent once fitted.

The copper-effect finish is an electroplated coating over marine-grade 304 stainless steel, giving a warm metallic tone that pairs with brick, stone, timber cladding and terracotta. The fitting accepts any standard GU10 bulb up to 35W (sold separately), including halogen, LED and retrofit energy-efficient lamps. Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb chosen — most dimmable GU10 LEDs will dim on a trailing-edge dimmer.

What does IP65 mean?

IP65 indicates the fitting is dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. It is suitable for fully exposed exterior walls, porches and outdoor covered areas. It is not rated for submersion.

What GU10 bulb should I use?

The fitting accepts any standard GU10 bulb up to 35W. For outdoor use, most users choose a warm-white LED GU10 between 4-6W (equivalent to 35-50W halogen output) at 2700K-3000K. Bulbs are sold separately.

Can the lamp head be adjusted after installation?

Yes. The head tilts and rotates on a ball joint, allowing the beam to be directed at the desired angle. Once set, the head locks into position and remains fixed during normal use.

Is the copper finish real copper or a coating?

The copper tone is an electroplated coating over 304 stainless steel, not solid copper. This gives the warm metallic appearance of copper with the corrosion resistance and structural integrity of stainless steel for long-term outdoor exposure.
