Description

The Orion is a 500mm semi-flush ceiling light with a white acrylic disc surrounding a central matt black canopy, housing an integrated 24W LED that produces 1680 lumens at 3000K. The white disc sits 140mm from the ceiling on a black cylindrical mount, creating a floating appearance where the LED inside illuminates both the disc itself and projects light downward into the room through the central aperture.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or lower where a pendant would hang too low, the Orion provides ambient ceiling lighting without the drop of a suspension fitting. The 500mm diameter suits bedrooms, hallways, kitchens and living rooms up to 15-18m². The 140° beam angle spreads light evenly across the ceiling plane and down into the room, avoiding harsh central hotspots. The non-dimmable LED runs on standard 230V mains and requires no separate driver.

The white acrylic disc diffuses the LED source, turning the entire 500mm surface into the light output rather than exposing a visible bulb or chip array. The matt black canopy and mount provide visual weight at the centre, anchoring the composition and creating contrast against white or light-coloured ceilings. The two-tone palette pairs with monochrome, Scandinavian and contemporary minimalist interiors without competing with furniture or wall colour.
