Description

The Ophelia is a 500mm square semi-flush ceiling light combining a central column of cascading crystal strands with a rectangular polished chrome frame and nine G9 bulb positions. The crystal strands form a vertical curtain around the central support, with additional vertical crystal rods bordering the outer chrome frame. A frosted glass diffuser sits beneath the crystal assembly, filtering the light from the nine G9 bulbs into a diffused ambient glow.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above where a full pendant drop would encroach on headroom, the Ophelia's 540mm overall height positions the bulk of the crystal detail close to the ceiling plane while maintaining a 50cm square visual presence. The fixture suits entrance halls, dining rooms and larger living spaces where overhead decorative lighting is needed without compromising floor-to-ceiling clearance. The 7.8kg weight requires fixing directly to a joist or ceiling rose rated for the load.

Each crystal strand and rod is individually hung, catching ambient daylight and magnifying the output from the nine G9 bulbs when lit. The polished chrome finish on the frame and ceiling plate reflects the crystal facets, multiplying the sparkle effect across the room.
