Olimpia 3 Ring LED Semi-Flush Ceiling Light 36W - Satin Gold

The Olimpia is a semi-flush ceiling light built from three hollow circular rings in satin gold, each containing an integrated LED strip behind an opal white diffuser. The rings are held in a geometric arrangement by slim satin gold connecting bars that extend from a 170mm-diameter ceiling plate, creating an asymmetric composition where the rings sit at different heights and angles below the ceiling.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and open-plan dining areas with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m, the Olimpia provides ambient room lighting through the combined 36W LED output rated at 2700 lumens and 3000K warm white. The fixture projects 650mm below the ceiling, so it sits lower than a typical flush or semi-flush fitting and needs clearance above furniture and walkways. The opal diffusers soften the LED output and prevent glare from the light source.

The satin gold finish is a brushed metal surface with a warm tone that sits between polished brass and antique brass in visual temperature. The 530mm width spans the longest dimension of the arrangement from the outer edge of one ring to the outer edge of another. Each ring is formed from hollow tubing with the LED strip recessed inside, meaning the light emanates from within the metal structure rather than being mounted separately on it. The 1.53kg weight is distributed across the ceiling plate and requires secure fixing to a ceiling joist or solid backing.

The Olimpia is part of Mantra's architectural LED collection and is non-dimmable — the integrated LED runs at full output when powered. Is the Olimpia dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and runs at full 36W output when switched on. If dimming control is needed, an alternative fitting with dimmable LED or replaceable bulbs would be required.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 650mm projection below the ceiling means the lowest point of the rings will sit 650mm down from the ceiling surface. In a room with a 2.4m ceiling, the lowest ring sits at approximately 1.75m above floor level, which is fine for most living rooms but may be low for hallways or areas with regular overhead movement.

How bright is 2700 lumens?

2700 lumens is roughly equivalent to three 60W incandescent bulbs or two 100W bulbs, providing sufficient ambient light for a living room or bedroom up to approximately 20-25 square metres. The warm 3000K colour temperature gives a soft white glow rather than a clinical bright white.

Can the rings be repositioned during installation?

No. The rings are fixed to the connecting bars in the configuration shown. The entire assembly is pre-wired and cannot be adjusted or reconfigured on site.
