Nur XL LED Rectangular Semi-Flush Ceiling Light 80W 2800K - Brown Oxide

The Nur XL is a 1200mm LED semi-flush ceiling light built from curved aluminium ribbons finished in brown oxide, with frosted polycarbonate diffusers integrated into the flowing form. An 80W integrated LED inside casts 3900 lumens of warm 2800K light through the diffusers, creating ambient illumination across a wide 120° beam angle. The fixture hangs 800mm from the ceiling canopy to the lowest point of the curves.

Designed for living rooms, open-plan dining areas, hallways and bedrooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the Nur XL functions as both primary ambient lighting and a sculptural focal point. The elongated 1200mm x 460mm footprint suits rectangular rooms or long dining tables where a single central pendant would appear undersized. The brown oxide finish brings a warm, earthy tone that pairs with timber, terracotta, rust-toned textiles and warm-white walls, while the frosted diffusers prevent glare and soften the light output across the room.

Each aluminium ribbon curves in a continuous arc from the central ceiling canopy, splitting and rejoining to form an asymmetric geometric pattern. The ribbons are finished in a matte brown oxide that shows subtle tonal variation under different light conditions, appearing darker when unlit and warming when the LED illuminates the frosted panels from within. The 1.95kg weight requires secure fixing to a standard UK ceiling rose or mounting block capable of supporting the fixture's span and mass.

Is the Nur XL dimmable?

No. The integrated 80W LED is not dimmable and runs at fixed 2800K warm white output when powered on.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 800mm drop from ceiling canopy to the lowest curve point works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above. Lower ceilings may still accommodate the fitting in areas without foot traffic directly beneath, such as above a dining table or in a hallway.

What size room does it suit?

The 3900 lumen output and 120° beam angle provide adequate ambient lighting for rooms up to approximately 20-25 square metres. The 1200mm length suits rectangular layouts, long dining tables, or open-plan living areas where a single round pendant would look undersized.

How is the brown oxide finish maintained?

Wipe the aluminium ribbons with a dry, soft microfibre cloth to remove dust. For fingerprints or marks, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water. Avoid household sprays, polishes or abrasive cleaners that may alter the matte oxide finish.
