Nur Dimmable LED Wall Light 10W 2800K - Brown Oxide

The Nur is a 10W integrated LED wall light with two curved aluminium arms finished in brown oxide, each capped with a frosted polycarbonate diffuser. The integrated LED produces 850 lumens at 2800K warm white across a 120° beam angle, controlled via a touch-sensitive dimmer built into the wall plate. The curved arms extend upward and downward from a circular 145mm-wide backplate, projecting 170mm from the wall.

Designed for bedside reading positions, lounge accent walls, hallways and stairwells, the Nur provides both ambient and task lighting depending on the dimmer setting. The touch dimmer responds to a fingertip press on the backplate itself, cycling through brightness levels without needing a separate wall switch or remote. The 320mm total height suits standard wall mounting at 1.5-1.8m above floor level, positioning the upper arm at typical reading height when fitted beside a bed or armchair.

The brown oxide finish on the aluminium frame presents as a matte mid-brown with slight tonal variation across the curved surface, pairing comfortably with walnut, oak and other mid-to-dark wood finishes in contemporary interiors. The frosted polycarbonate diffusers hide the LED strip inside each arm, eliminating visible hotspots and spreading the 2800K output evenly along each curve. At 0.5kg the fitting is lightweight enough for plasterboard installation with appropriate fixings.

The 2800K colour temperature is warmer than standard 3000K LED fittings, producing a more amber-toned white light closer to traditional incandescent bulbs. The integrated LED and touch dimmer eliminate the need for separate dimmer switches or additional wiring beyond a standard switched mains supply.

How does the touch dimmer work?

Press the circular backplate with a fingertip to cycle through brightness levels. The dimmer does not require a separate wall switch or remote — it responds directly to touch on the fixture itself.

Can it be used for bedside reading?

Yes. The 320mm height positions the upper arm at typical bedside reading height when the fitting is mounted 1.5-1.8m above floor level. The 850lm output at full brightness provides sufficient task light for reading, and the touch dimmer allows adjustment for ambient light before sleep.

What is the difference between 2800K and 3000K?

2800K produces a warmer, more amber-toned white light similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. 3000K is slightly cooler and more neutral. The 2800K output on the Nur suits interiors where a warmer tone is preferred.

Is the brown oxide finish matte or glossy?

The brown oxide finish is matte with a low sheen. It does not produce reflections under ambient light and presents as a flat mid-brown tone across the curved aluminium frame.
