Nur Dimmable LED Semi-Flush Ceiling Light 50W 3000K - Polished Chrome

The Nur is a 50W LED semi-flush ceiling light built around two continuous illuminated loops that curve outward from a polished chrome ceiling plate in a flowing sculptural arc. The loops house integrated LEDs behind frosted white diffusers, emitting 4000 lumens at 3000K warm white across a 120° beam angle. The polished chrome finish on the metal frame provides reflective contrast against the frosted white diffuser surface.

Designed for living rooms, dining areas and bedrooms with standard 2.4-2.7m ceiling heights, the Nur provides ambient lighting across a 3-4m space from a semi-flush mount that extends 640mm from the ceiling plate. The 530mm diameter footprint fits rooms where a full pendant drop would intrude on headroom but a flush fitting lacks visual presence. The dimmable LED accepts trailing-edge and leading-edge dimmer switches, allowing output to be adjusted from full brightness for daytime use down to soft accent lighting for evening.

The sculptural loop form gives the fitting architectural presence as both a light source and a decorative element. The polished chrome surface reflects ambient room light and colour from surrounding walls, integrating the fitting visually into the space rather than sitting as a discrete object on the ceiling. At 1.57kg the fitting mounts to standard UK ceiling fixings without additional reinforcement.

The 640mm reach of the loops carries two integrated LED strips, and the 220-240V input runs the fitting on standard UK mains without a separate transformer. The 3000K warm white gives a soft output across the 4000lm rating, and the 120° beam angle spreads light widely rather than concentrating it into a narrow pool.

Is the Nur dimmable?

Yes. The integrated LED is dimmable when paired with a suitable trailing-edge or leading-edge dimmer switch. The dimmer must be rated for LED loads. Not all dimmers designed for halogen or incandescent bulbs will work reliably with LED fittings.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The Nur extends 640mm from the ceiling plate, making it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. In rooms with 2.4m ceilings the lowest point of the fitting will sit at approximately 1.76m, which is above head height for most interior circulation.

Can the LED be replaced?

The LED is integrated into the loop structure and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000 hours of operation, equivalent to around 13 years at 5 hours per day. The fitting comes with a 3-year warranty including the LED.

What room size does it light?

At 4000 lumens the Nur provides ambient lighting for a room of approximately 12-16m² (a 3.5m x 4m living room or a 4m x 4m bedroom). For larger spaces or task-heavy rooms, supplementary lighting may be needed.
