Nur Dimmable LED Semi-Flush Ceiling Light 30W 3000K - White

The Nur is a semi-flush LED ceiling light built around a single curved white metal loop that extends 730mm down from a flush-mounted white ceiling plate. An integrated 30W 3000K LED runs the full length of the loop behind a frosted white diffuser, turning the entire curve into a continuous line of light delivering 2400 lumens.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Nur suits living rooms, dining areas, bedrooms and hallways where a sculptural fitting is wanted without the full drop of a pendant. The curved loop projects approximately 530mm at its widest point, working in rooms 3-4m across where a single fitting provides ambient coverage. The matte white finish on the frame keeps the fitting visually light against white or neutral ceilings.

The integrated LED is dimmable when paired with a compatible trailing-edge or leading-edge dimmer (sold separately), allowing light levels to be adjusted from full 2400lm output down to low evening ambient levels. The frosted diffuser softens the LED source into an even glow along the entire curve, avoiding visible hotspots or banding. The 3000K colour temperature sits in the warm white range, comparable to halogen rather than the cooler tones of daylight LEDs.

The Nur ships as a single unit with the LED pre-installed in the frame. Installation requires connection to mains 220-240V via a standard UK ceiling rose, with the ceiling plate covering the connection point once fitted. The entire fitting weighs 1.07kg, light enough to be supported by a standard ceiling rose without additional bracing.

What dimmer is needed?

The Nur requires a trailing-edge or leading-edge dimmer rated for LED loads. Check compatibility with your specific dimmer model before installation — not all dimmers rated for LEDs will work with every integrated LED fitting.

What ceiling height does it need?

The 730mm drop from ceiling to lowest point of the loop works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. In 2.4m rooms the fitting sits approximately 1.67m above floor level, suitable for circulation spaces but potentially low for areas directly underneath seating or dining tables.

Can the LED be replaced?

No. The LED is integrated into the frame and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000 hours of operation, which equates to roughly 11 years at 6 hours per day use.

What room size does it suit?

At 2400lm output, the Nur provides ambient light for rooms approximately 3-4m across. Larger rooms or rooms needing task lighting may benefit from additional fittings or supplementary table/floor lamps.
