Description

The Nur is a 530mm sculptural LED semi-flush ceiling light built around a continuous looping ribbon of frosted acrylic that curves outward from a brown oxide ceiling plate. Two integrated LED strips inside the ribbon produce 4000 lumens of 2800K warm white light, turning the entire looping form into a single illuminated contour that hangs 640mm from the ceiling plate.

Designed for living rooms, dining areas, bedrooms and hallways with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Nur provides ambient lighting across the full room rather than directed task light. The 120-degree beam angle and frosted diffuser spread the light evenly outward and downward, softening shadows and reducing glare. The semi-flush format sits closer to the ceiling than a full pendant but projects far enough (640mm) to create strong visual presence without dominating the vertical space.

The brown oxide finish on the metal ceiling plate and structural elements carries a deep bronze-brown tone that pairs with warm-toned interiors, natural wood furniture and earth-toned textiles. The looping ribbon itself is finished in frosted white acrylic, which diffuses the LED light and prevents the individual diodes from being visible when lit. The combination of brown oxide metalwork and frosted white light ribbon gives a contemporary but warm character that suits both modern minimalist and transitional interiors.

At 1.57kg total weight, the Nur mounts to a standard UK ceiling rose using the supplied bracket. The integrated LED is rated for 50W power consumption on 100-240V mains, making it compatible with UK residential installations without additional transformers. The fitting is not dimmable.
