Description

The Nostalgia is a 9-light chandelier built around a symmetrical black metal frame with matt gold canopy and globe holders. Nine frosted glass globes sit on brass-toned pedestals arranged across four extending arms, each globe housing an E14 bulb up to 40W (bulbs sold separately). The 131.5cm span and asymmetric arm arrangement create a horizontal visual mass suited to rectangular dining tables and larger living spaces.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or higher, the Nostalgia's height adjusts from 58.6cm to 92.8cm on installation by shortening or extending the suspension cable. The horizontal spread makes it well-suited to dining rooms where the table measures 2m or longer, and the nine-globe configuration provides balanced illumination without a single dominant central bulb. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor areas away from bathrooms and outdoor exposure.

The matt gold finish on the canopy and globe holders provides warmth against the black metal frame, while the frosted glass diffuses direct bulb glare and softens the overall light output. Each globe measures approximately 150mm diameter, and the combination of nine frosted diffusers creates ambient rather than task lighting. The central column holds the suspension cable, and the arms radiate outward in a Sputnik-influenced arrangement that references mid-century modern design while remaining current in contemporary interiors.

The Nostalgia takes nine E14 (small Edison screw) candle-style bulbs, each up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this chandelier with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for dining and living room applications.

What ceiling height is needed?

The chandelier's height adjusts from 58.6cm to 92.8cm on installation. For dining tables, the chandelier typically hangs 75-90cm above the table surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. The 131.5cm width requires a room width of at least 3m to avoid the arms appearing cramped.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs used. LED bulbs labeled as dimmable will work with most modern dimmer switches. The chandelier itself does not restrict dimming — the bulb choice determines compatibility.

Can the arms be adjusted after installation?

No. The arms are fixed in their radial arrangement and cannot be repositioned or rotated once the chandelier is assembled. The symmetry is set by the manufacturer.
