Description

The Feiss Nori is an 823mm diameter chandelier combining a dark weathered zinc wrought iron frame with cascading strands of driftwood grey wooden beads. Six E14 candle bulbs (sold separately) sit in cup-style candle holders arranged around the upper rim of the metal framework, with the bead strands draping from the canopy down through the centre and extending beyond a decorative wooden sphere at the base.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and double-height living areas with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Nori pairs decorative presence with functional task and ambient lighting. The adjustable drop ranges from 868mm minimum to 2419mm maximum, allowing the chandelier to be set 700-900mm above a dining table or to hang centrally in a two-storey entrance hall. The 823mm diameter suits tables and floor areas of approximately 1.8m-2.4m width.

The wrought iron frame carries a dark weathered zinc finish that mimics aged galvanised metal, showing darker tones in recessed areas and lighter high points that catch light. The driftwood grey wooden beads soften the industrial metal frame and add textural warmth, while the wooden finial sphere at the base provides a visual anchor. The combination of industrial metalwork and natural wood beads suits farmhouse, coastal, transitional and modern rustic interiors where both structure and softness are wanted in the same fitting.

What bulbs does the Nori take?

The chandelier takes six E14 candle bulbs up to 40W each, sold separately. Flame-tip LED candle bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) between 4-6W are the most common pairing, giving a traditional candle flame appearance that complements the wooden beads.

What ceiling height is needed?

The minimum drop of 868mm plus the 762mm fitting height gives a total suspended length of 1630mm from ceiling to base. For a dining table installation with the chandelier sitting 700-800mm above the table surface, a ceiling height of at least 2.7m is needed. Higher ceilings up to 3.6m can use more of the available 2419mm maximum drop.

Is the chandelier heavy?

The combination of wrought iron frame and wooden beads gives the Nori substantial weight. Ensure the ceiling fixing point can support at least 8-10kg and use appropriate fixings for your ceiling type (plasterboard, concrete, or timber joists).

Can the wooden beads be cleaned?

Yes. Dust the beads with a dry soft brush or microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the wood. Do not use furniture polish or chemical cleaners on the driftwood grey finish.
