Description

Our Nenon storage box is a low, rectangular gold box in MDF, with a separate lid and a lacquered, high gloss finish. It measures 15.5cm long, 11cm wide and 5cm tall, a size that suits the small things that otherwise wander about a home: rings and earrings, a watch, spare keys, hair clips and a few folded receipts. Look closely and the gold surface carries fine, irregular brush-like markings, so it reads as a crafted object rather than a flat block of colour. At 0.3KG it is light enough to lift from a shelf with one hand.

Because it stands only 5cm tall, it slips onto a bookshelf, sits on a dressing table without crowding a mirror, and rests neatly on a stack of coffee table books, where the gold catches light from a nearby window or lamp.
