Description

The Narisa is a 47cm flush ceiling light built from a perforated chrome-plated metal dome surrounding an opal acrylic inner diffuser, housing five G9 bulbs. The outer dome is punctuated with irregular circular apertures that scatter reflections across the ceiling surface, while the opal acrylic softens the light emitted from the five 10W G9 fittings inside. The combined effect is ambient room lighting with a textured decorative finish.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m where a pendant would hang too low, the Narisa sits just 30cm from the ceiling surface and provides sufficient light output for living rooms, bedrooms and hallways between 12-18m². The flush mount suits both modern and transitional interiors where a decorative ceiling feature is wanted without sacrificing headroom. The chrome finish pairs with cooler-toned schemes and other metallic accents within a room.

The perforated dome structure weighs 3.93kg and mounts directly to a standard UK ceiling rose via the integrated backplate. The opal diffuser is removable for bulb access, and the five G9 LED bulbs are included in the box. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor areas — it is not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use. The chrome plating is a mirror finish that shows fingerprints during installation, so handle the dome by its edges and wipe clean with a soft cloth before final fitting.

What ceiling height is this suitable for?

The Narisa suits rooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m where a pendant would hang too low. At 30cm projection from the ceiling, it provides adequate clearance in standard 2.3-2.4m ceiling height rooms without intruding into headroom.

Are the bulbs included?

Yes. The fitting includes five G9 LED 6W bulbs in the box. The lampholders accept any standard G9 bulb up to 10W if you wish to replace them with a different colour temperature or style.

Can this be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is not protected against moisture ingress and must only be installed in dry indoor areas. For bathrooms, look for fittings rated IP44 or higher.

How is the chrome dome cleaned?

The chrome-plated finish shows fingerprints and dust. Wipe gently with a dry microfibre cloth to remove surface dust. For marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works, but avoid household sprays or polishes that may damage the plating.
