The Mount Vernon Large Outdoor Lantern is a wall-mounted light with a traditional shape and a clean, uncomplicated design. It takes a single bulb behind panels of clear seedy glass, which carries a subtle rippled texture that catches the light and softens the glow. The black finish is understated and works across a range of home styles, from period properties to newer builds. It gives you a familiar carriage-lantern look without leaning too heavily into ornament.

This lantern is made for outdoor use and carries an IP44 rating, so it stands up to splashing and the general demands of an exposed wall. It suits a front porch, a back door, a garden wall or a path where you want a warm pool of light and a piece that looks at home by day as well as night. As a Class I fitting it needs an earthed connection, so it is best installed by a qualified electrician. A three year anti-corrosion guarantee reflects how it is built to cope with the weather.
