The Moschella is a slim LED flush ceiling light built around an open, rounded-triangle ring in black, with a white plastic diffuser running along the outer edge of the ring and a round black canopy set into a corner. The body is steel and aluminium, and the light measures 37.5cm across and just 4cm deep, so it sits close to the ceiling rather than dropping into the room. The light source is an integrated LED drawing 9.7W and giving 1,500lm, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It is rated IP20, which settles where it goes: indoors, in dry rooms only.

Because it is so shallow, it suits rooms where a hanging pendant would feel too low: a hallway, a landing, a bedroom, a living room or a home office. The open centre keeps it visually light, the black ring draws a crisp outline against a pale ceiling, and the glow from the diffuser spreads softly across the surrounding ceiling. You also choose the mood. Set it to 2700K for a warm, relaxed evening light, 4000K for a neutral white that suits a study or a dressing table, or 6500K for a cool daylight white that helps with reading and close work.

The frame pairs steel with aluminium in black, and the white plastic diffuser evens out the LEDs into a smooth band of light rather than a row of bright points. It is not dimmable and has no switch of its own, so it is controlled from the wall switch like any ceiling light, and it carries energy class E. A qualified electrician should fit it, and the installation instructions come as a download. Packed, it weighs 0.865KG, light enough to handle comfortably at ceiling height.
