Description

The Monvara is a 760mm floor lamp cut as a single rectangular monolith from Spanish alabaster and marble, with a 400mm by 400mm square footprint. Two E27 bulbs (sold separately) sit inside the hollowed body, lighting the stone from within so the alabaster itself becomes the diffuser. The result is a soft, ambient glow that reveals the natural veining and warm caramel patches running through the lower section of the block.

Sized for floor placement next to a sofa, in an entrance hall, or as a low-level corner light in a bedroom, the Monvara works as an ambient and decorative source rather than task lighting.
