Description

These paper napkins come in a pack of 20, and each one is 33cm long and 33cm wide with a playful cat print across it. Striped cats and spotted cats stretch, curl and leap over the paper inside a decorative border, drawn in a loose, sketchy line with wide eyes and long tails that give them real character. The print is multicoloured, which lets the napkins sit comfortably beside plain tableware or add a bit of fun to a table that is otherwise quite simple.

At 33cm by 33cm they are full-size napkins rather than small cocktail squares, big enough to open across a lap at the dinner table or lay flat on a plate as part of a place setting. The maker lists them as food safe, so they can wrap a pastry, sit under a slice of cake or line a basket of bread rolls. Bring them out for a weekend brunch, an afternoon coffee with friends, a birthday tea or a relaxed kitchen supper, and they are an easy, cheerful choice for anyone who loves cats.

Each napkin is made of paper with a fine embossed texture across its surface. Paper napkins are made to be used once, so there is no washing or ironing after the meal; they clear away with the plates. The styling props shown, the plate, mug and cutlery, are not included. For a practical styling note, lay one flat on each plate with the cutlery resting on top, or fold them into triangles and tuck them beside the fork for a more casual table.
