Description
The Mercury EU Schuko to IEC C13 lead is a 1.5m mains cable with a European Schuko plug at one end and an IEC C13 female connector at the other. The cable pairs standard European mains outlets (Type F Schuko, 230V) with equipment fitted with an IEC C13 inlet, including desktop computers, monitors, amplifiers, mixers, powered speakers, network switches, and most professional audio-visual equipment.
Designed for installations across Europe, the cable suits studio racks, office workstations, hospitality AV setups, and home equipment where a direct mains-to-IEC connection is needed. The 1.5m length allows positioning of equipment up to 1.5m from the wall socket without requiring an extension lead. Both connectors are moulded plastic with strain relief where the cable exits the body, reducing flex fatigue at the termination points.
The Schuko plug features two round pins with grounding clips on the side, matching the Type F socket standard used across Germany, France, Spain, Netherlands, Portugal, and most of continental Europe. The IEC C13 end is the three-pin female kettle-lead connector that mates with the C14 inlet found on the majority of mains-powered professional equipment.
