Description

The Mercury is a 100m reel of 2-core 0.75mm² speaker cable with a white double-insulated PVC sheath and hybrid copper/CCA conductors. Each core contains 12 strands of 0.2mm copper and 12 strands of 0.2mm copper-clad aluminium, giving a combined cross-sectional area of 0.75mm² per core and a 6A maximum current rating.

Designed for fixed installations in residential, commercial and education environments, the cable suits distributed audio systems, ceiling speaker runs, multi-room audio installations and public address installations where long cable runs are needed. The double insulation provides additional protection where cables run through wall cavities, ceiling voids or trunking, and the 7mm overall diameter keeps the cable flexible enough to route through conduit and around corners without kinking.

The white PVC sheath blends with white walls, ceiling tiles and skirting, reducing visual impact in exposed runs. The cable is supplied on two 50m reels, allowing separate runs to be pulled from a single box without needing to cut and rejoin mid-installation. The hybrid copper/CCA conductor design balances conductivity with weight and cost, making the cable suitable for voice and music reproduction where absolute audiophile conductor purity is not required.
