Description
The Meba is a 1200mm linear LED batten with switchable output, running at either 22W or 40W to suit the brightness a space needs. It delivers 2500 lumens (warm white) or 2700 lumens (neutral white) on the lower setting, rising to 4200 and 4400 lumens on the higher one, with a colour selectable choice of 3000K or 4000K. Across the US this format is widely sold as an LED shop light or wraparound light, the everyday fixture for a long, even line of light. A 120 degree beam spreads coverage broadly across the surface below.
Its long, bright output makes it a fit for garages, workshops, utility rooms, stores and similar working spaces where a clean run of light matters. At general lighting levels a single unit covers around 8 to 15 m² depending on the chosen output, and several can be arranged end to end down a longer room or work bay. As an IP20 fitting it is for dry indoor use only, so keep it clear of damp, sheltered-outdoor and bathroom positions. Mounted to the ceiling, it gives consistent illumination with no harsh shadowing.
Built from steel in a white finish, the Meba measures 1200 x 160 x 62 mm and weighs 1.86 kg. It is ceiling mounted with an integrated LED rated for 50,000 hours, and the wattage and colour temperature are set via switch rather than supplied as separate variants. The fitting is not dimmable. With a CRI of Ra 80 it renders colour well enough for general task work. Further lengths and outputs sit within the wider Meba range.

Frequently Asked
Where is this batten typically used?
The Meba suits garages, workshops, utility rooms and storage areas where a long, even line of light is needed. As an IP20 fitting it is rated for dry indoor use only, so it should not be installed outdoors or in damp or bathroom locations.
Can these battens be linked together in a run?
Battens of this kind are commonly arranged end to end to light a longer room or work bay. Position several Meba units in a line along the ceiling for continuous coverage across the space.
How do I change the wattage and colour temperature?
Both are set on the fitting via a switch rather than ordered as separate models. You can choose 22W or 40W output and 3000K warm white or 4000K neutral white, giving up to 4400 lumens at the higher setting.
How do I clean the Meba batten?
Switch the fitting off and let it cool, then wipe the surface with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid solvents or abrasive cleaners, which can mark the white finish and the diffuser over time.
