The Masmena is a compact LED outdoor wall light in the shape of a neat cube, cast in aluminium and finished in anthracite, a deep charcoal grey. It measures 10.5cm across and 10.5cm high, and stands 11cm out from the wall. Inside sit two integrated LEDs of 3.3W each, giving 340 lumens per light at 3000K, a warm white. One shines upward and one downward, so the cube throws two soft fans of light across the wall. It is rated IP54, protected from dust and splashing water, so it can live outdoors on a house wall or a garden wall.

Because it is small and sits close to the wall, the Masmena suits a front door, a porch, a patio or a side passage, anywhere you want light without a bulky lantern. The two beams pick out the texture of render, brick or timber cladding, so a plain wall gains a little architecture after dark. Fitted in pairs either side of a door or spaced along a terrace, the cubes make a tidy rhythm of light. The warm white tone sits comfortably beside outdoor seating, so it works as well for an evening on the patio as it does for finding your keys at the door.

The body is cast aluminium, and aluminium does not rust, which suits a light that lives outdoors. The LEDs are integrated, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It is not dimmable and has no switch of its own, so you control it from a wall switch. As a wired-in mains light running at 220-240V, 50/60Hz, it should be installed by a qualified electrician. Its energy class is F, and it weighs 0.853KG packed. The installation instructions come as a PDF download.
