Description

The Malibu is a 335mm flush ceiling light with an opal-etched glass drum diffuser set within a stepped brushed brass frame. Two E27 bulbs (sold separately, up to 60W each) sit inside the opal glass, which diffuses the light evenly across the room without visible bulb glare. The fitting projects 156mm from the ceiling, making it suited to rooms with ceiling heights of 2.1m or above where a pendant would hang too low.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, bathrooms and low-ceilinged kitchens, the Malibu carries an IP44 rating that allows installation in bathroom zones 2 and 3, as well as other areas where moisture resistance is needed. The brushed brass finish provides a warm metallic tone that pairs with both traditional brass fixtures and warmer contemporary interiors. The opal glass hides the bulbs while providing enough ambient light for general room illumination.

The stepped frame gives the fitting a two-tier profile when viewed from the side, with the brushed brass canopy sitting flush to the ceiling and the glass drum recessed slightly within it. This construction keeps the overall fitting compact while maintaining visual interest. The brass finish shows a directional brushed grain that softens reflections and ages gradually over time in damp environments, developing a natural patina if left unsealed.
