Description

The LYYT SideBend WW is a 30m reel of side bending LED tape (LED strip in US terms) that runs on 24V DC. It's just 4mm wide and 8mm tall, and it's built to bend far more easily than standard tape. That flexibility lets you follow curves and corners that would normally need rigid sections or clever joins, which opens up a lot of shapes for signage, coving and edge lighting.

A frosted extrusion surface spreads the light evenly along the run, so you get a smooth line without adding a separate profile. The tape is rated IP66, which makes it suitable for damp and outdoor spots as well as dry indoor use. It's designed to sit in a recess or a routed channel in walls and floors, giving a clean finish where the tape itself stays out of direct view. This version is Warm White at 2700K, with Natural White and Cool White also available in the range.

You can cut the tape to length at 33.3mm intervals, then attach DC cabling and seal the ends with end caps. One end comes with 2m of 22AWG DC cable already fitted to help with wiring. Power draw is 10W per metre at 24V, and we recommend a maximum run of 10m from a single power supply to keep brightness consistent across the length. The beam angle is 110 degrees, and installation accessories such as end caps and connectors are available separately.

Can I cut the tape to length?

Yes. You can cut it at 33.3mm intervals, then attach DC cabling and seal the cut end with an end cap.
